  • Then you go to privacy settings. There you can choose who sees your posts. To turn off comments on the Facebook shares, you can select the ‘only me’ option. 
  • Select the post whose privacy settings you want to edit. Then you need to tap the three vertical dots on the upper right side. 
  • Then tap edit privacy. Choose from public, friends, or friends except for options. The Friends except option will let you show the post to a select group of friends and hide it from everyone else. 

If you want to do that, you can go to the account settings, choose the ‘who can post on your timeline’ and click on edit. Then select between friends and only me. This will stop the appearance of random posts on your timeline.
